Terms of Service

Corpus lets you store personal context and make relevant information available to supported AI services you choose to connect.

Corpus may retrieve and transmit information from your Corpus when an authorized AI service requests context relevant to your interaction with that service.

Corpus does not control the AI service receiving that information and does not guarantee how an AI service will interpret, use, present, or respond to information received from Corpus.

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must be located in the United States.
• You must have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Corpus account.

You must provide accurate account information and may not impersonate another person or create an account for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.

You are responsible for activity conducted through your account and for promptly notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Corpus may provide you with a private connection link, token, or other credential that allows supported AI services to access your Corpus.

Treat this credential like a password.

Do not intentionally provide it to anyone or any service that you do not want to access your Corpus.

You retain ownership of the information and other content you add to Corpus.

By storing information in Corpus, you give us a limited, non-exclusive right to host, store, process, retrieve, copy, and transmit that information only as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and provide Corpus.

This permission does not give Corpus ownership of your content.

You may choose to connect Corpus to third-party AI services, such as ChatGPT or Claude.

When you authorize a connection, you instruct Corpus to make relevant information available to that service when requested.

Third-party services have their own terms, privacy policies, security practices, model-training practices, and data-use settings.

Corpus does not control and is not responsible for a third-party provider's use of information after that information has been transmitted to the provider at your direction.

Corpus does not:

• Sell your personal information.
• Use your personal information for advertising.
• Share your personal information with advertisers.
• Use information stored in your Corpus to train AI models.

Corpus is intended for personal context, not for storing secret authentication or financial credentials.

Do not use Corpus to store:

• Passwords.
• Social Security numbers.
• Credit or debit card numbers.
• Bank account credentials.
• PINs or one-time authentication codes.
• API keys or private keys.
• Other secret authentication credentials.

You may not use Corpus to:

• Violate applicable law.
• Access or attempt to access another person's Corpus without authorization.
• Circumvent authentication, access controls, rate limits, or security measures.
• Probe, scan, or test Corpus for vulnerabilities without authorization.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code or underlying systems except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Scrape, crawl, mine, or automatically extract information from Corpus except through interfaces we intentionally provide.
• Interfere with, disrupt, damage, or overload the service.
• Introduce malware or other harmful code.
• Violate another person's privacy, intellectual-property rights, or other legal rights.

Corpus is an early-stage product.

The service may contain bugs, errors, defects, interruptions, or inaccuracies.

Features may be added, changed, interrupted, or removed. Connections to third-party AI services may stop working because of changes to those services or their platforms.

Use of an early-stage service also carries a risk of unexpected behavior or loss of information. You should not use Corpus as the only copy of information that you cannot afford to lose.

We do not guarantee that Corpus will always be available, error-free, uninterrupted, completely secure, or compatible with every AI service.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to Corpus if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created a security risk, used the service fraudulently or unlawfully, or if action is necessary to protect Corpus, its users, or third parties.

You may request deletion of your account by emailing support@withcorpus.com.

If you provide feedback, ideas, or suggestions about Corpus, you give us permission to use them to develop, improve, or operate Corpus without restriction or compensation to you.

Corpus and its software, design, branding, documentation, and other materials provided by us are owned by Corpus or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Your personal content remains yours.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Corpus is provided "as is" and "as available."

We make no warranty that Corpus will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, accurate, or suitable for a particular purpose.

Corpus does not guarantee the accuracy, quality, safety, or usefulness of responses generated by third-party AI services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Corpus and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of Corpus.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of Corpus and its operator for claims arising from or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to Corpus during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or $100.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Corpus and its operator from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful or unauthorized use of Corpus, your material violation of these Terms, your violation of another person's rights, or content you provide when you did not have the lawful right to provide it.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue some or all of Corpus and may change usage limits, supported integrations, features, or eligibility requirements.

We may update these Terms as Corpus develops.

When we do, we will update the effective date above.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the agreement between you and Corpus concerning your use of the service, except for any additional terms you expressly agree to.
